✨ Drum Birthing Workshop at Mó Chuísle in Collon on Sunday 26th April 2026  ✨
If you feel the heartbeat beneath you, the whisper of your ancestors, or the pull back to your inner wilderness, this gathering is for you.
At Mó Chuísle in Collon, a ceremonial circle will open for the birthing of your shamanic drum. Guided by the presence of the land, you will move through a creative and ceremonial process, awakening an ancient remembering within.
This is more than shaping wood and hide.
 It is the calling forth of a companion, a keeper of prayer, a vessel for sound, healing, and truth.
Each knot and intention becomes part of the drum’s spirit and your own. If you feel the call, trust it. Your drum is ready to be born through you.
This immersive one-day workshop includes:
✨ Choosing your hoop and hide
   Choose from three hoop sizes 16″ 18″ or 20”, crafted from Rosewood, Ash, Walnut, or Willow, and select your hide from Cow, Calf, Goat, Buffalo, Horse & Camel.
✨ Tree & Animal Spirit Meditation
   A grounding ceremonial meditation honouring both the tree that offered its wood and the being whose hide you will be working with. 
✨ Full guidance and support throughout the entire drum-birthing process
   You will be shown each step of crafting your drum, preparing the hide, cutting, lacing, tensioning, and finishing.  Every participant completes their own drum & beater.
✨ Drum Journey Meditation
   Once your drum is complete, you will be guided through a Drum Journey Meditation to awaken and connect to the spirit of your newly birthed drum.

Duration
This is a full, immersive day running from 9:30am to approximately 6:00pm.
Light lunch & Refreshments  are included in the day.
